Sailing for the future
Reverso Air ready to sail towards the future and contribute to a better world
we do has
Some time ago, David, our technical director had a small argument with one of our deckware suppliers that was delivering some pulleys in individual packages. Day after day, supplier after supplier, he could impose bulk packages, and educated a lot of our partners about what we do and what our core values are. This is a small story illustrating how we consider our impact in every decision we make.
Our design process always include these 4 core values
- Direct impact
Of course, we are not perfect, we still use some resins based on non-renewable ressources but we are getting better, day after day.
Here are a few examples
We build the most durable yachts because we believe a product doesn't become a waste until it remains in its integrity.
We work from home, since day 1 for all the office work, when not at the factory
We have a 100% recyclable packaging, without plastic
Our hulls can always be repaired at your local boatyard, even if injured. This is not the case with drop stitch inflatable technologies for example.
Our ropes are made of recycled plastic bottles
We switched to bio-based resin for our centerboards
Our shippings integrates with the normal freight network, we don't not have to fill containers and there is no lost space
The Reverso sailing dinghies do not need road trailers. That is less material built for your passion.
Being a folding dinghy, the Reverso Air can be stored indoors, bringing unbeatable durability.
