Sustainability : not just a concept
Sustainability is not a concept. It's a core value that we consider in every decision we make at Reverso. We build sailboats we are proud of for people we care about.
Inside Reverso
A construction that stands the test of time
We have a responsibility to the future generations. Everything we produce has an impact.
The design and construction of Reverso are meant to stand the test of time. For example, we only use dense wood for the mast foot plates, and only 316L stainless steel for all the padeyes
From plastic-free recyclable packaging to custom production of our own rope designs, made of former PET plastic bottles, we take care of having the smallest impact.
Avoid premature aging and UV/salt agressions
Most of the time, you can't store a standard non-folding boat inside.
When a boat spends 365 days per year outside, you can't avoid UV radiation, heat, weather, dust, vandalism..A portable sailboat avoids any of these outcomes and requires virtually zero maintenance.
Handmade in France
We build sailboats we are proud of for people we care about, in our factory located in Brittany, France.
This new factory was especially designed to build the Reverso Air and organized around lean manufacturing, and Kaizen concepts (continuous improvement)
